Why Study?
4 17 24 HFL
April 17, 2024

... be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God.

Romans 12:2

For students, it is “spring fever” time. Why did you study? Was your mind enriched because of parental expectations, examples of close friends, a special person’s encouragement, a love of learning, a dollar for each “A”?

It is good to encourage everyone, including ourselves, to study. The more known about areas of life, the better people can interact. An interest in God’s creation is stimulated. Participating knowledgeably in a conversation is possible. There is an open door to influencing others for good. These paths are for the Spirit’s use to bring Jesus’ love into another’s life. Our minds are renewed, so that all can be transformed by God’s will. Observe. God is working through what he has taught us. Keep studying!

Harry Edenfield
Brownstown, MI

Triune God, your whole creation shows your majesty. Let us see it and display it in life’s doorways. Amen.

Reflect: Strive to earn Continuing Education Units for the benefit of others.
