Items will be sent every 4-6 weeks or so.
Who can I participate in the Grief Ministry?
As a ministry, we support aging adults and those who care for them. While we know that all hurt in a time of grief, our resources are intended for those aging adults and their caregivers.
Will my friend or loved one receive any promotional mailings from Worship Anew?
No. They will only receive items related to the Grief Ministry, unless they request other information from Worship Anew.
Can I see what you are sending to my friend or loved one?
Absolutely! We would be happy to share more detailed information with you one what we are sending. Please email us at info@worshipnew.org to request this information.
I would like to enroll a friend or loved one in the Grief Ministry but remain anonymous, is that possible?
Unfortunately, no. Because Worship Anew is partnering with you to care for this individual, we are not able to keep your information anonymous. If you with to just send a Care Package, please click here to complete that form.
My friend or loved one is no longer in their first year of bereavement. Can I still enroll them in the Grief Ministry?
Our program is meant for those in their first year of bereavement. However, we may have resources that would be helpful to your friend or loved one. Please reach out to us at info@worshipanew.org to discuss options.
How much does it cost to enroll someone in the Grief Ministry?
Because we want everyone to be able to share the love of Christ with those who are grieving, there is no cost for enrollment in the Grief Ministry. However, you will have an opportunity to give an optional donation when you fill out the enrollment form. Your generous donations make it possible for us to continue this ministry!
Can I send a Care Package and a enroll them in the Grief Ministry?
The Care Package is the initial item that is sent through the Grief Ministry. We use that as a starting point to provide comfort throughout that first year of bereavement.
Can the receiver opt out?
Yes, the recipient reserves the right to opt out of the program at any time. To do so, please email our Care Ministry Specialist Renee Schuller at renee@worshipanew.org.
What if the receiver already has access to grief care?
That is wonderful. This program is meant to supplement personal one-on-one care from others. If they already have one of the resources or gifts sent, please encourage them to share it with someone else who is grieving.
Could a congregation enroll someone in the grief ministry?
Yes! We appreciate the work that we can do to walk alongside congregations as you care for individuals who are grieving. On the form, you will notice that it asks for the sender's first and last name. Please include the name of someone within your congregation who will be our point of contact as we partner with you to care for this individual.
