Romans 15:13

I love romance novels and movies. The reason is the guaranteed happy ending. The thread that leads through the struggle of the story is the hope of that happy ending.

God is writing our love story. He has sent his son, Jesus, to guarantee our happy ending of everlasting life with him in heaven. It doesn’t depend on all the twists, turns, doubts, and sins we have amassed over the lifetime lived. It depends on the love of our Savior who took our story and made it his perfect life, the great exchange.

Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love and the greatest is love because faith and hope will be revealed at our happy ending. And love, love continues ever after because God is love and we will be with him face to face.
