“I’m a senior citizen!” I’m delighted to say that at McDonald’s as one of the perks of old age! But here are a few more perks that are better than reduced prices at fast food places.
As part of the aging process, we’re in doctors’ offices more often. Try leaving devotional booklets in the waiting room; talk to your doctor about the Lord. Be bold.
We have more time to pray and study Scripture. Talk to people who need prayer and comforting words. Be available. We can babysit grandchildren or neighborhood children. Be willing. Finally, how we speak can set the tone for those around us. Let people hear Jesus when you talk. Be kind.
Aging has many blessings. Ask the Lord to use you as one of his blessings.
