Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered.
1 Chronicles 16:12
My grandchildren love when I tell them stories. They want to hear them over and over until they can recite every word themselves. Stories are intriguing, memorable, can teach valuable lessons, and increase curiosity.
As older adults, we have many stories to share of the wonders and miracles of God experienced throughout our lives. These personal testimonies of Jesus intrigue our friends and family because they are told by someone they love. They will be remembered when they encounter similar experiences. They teach them about a Savior who is true to his promises and pique their curiosity to learn more about him. What better gift is there to leave this generation than your story of God’s faithfulness?
