Then you shall say to your son, “We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.”
Deuteronomy 6:21
Whenever I visit shut-ins, I usually appreciate their stories. They will tell me how they met their spouse, when their children were born, and other special stories. Sometimes they say, “Well, I know I told you this story before,” but I’ll say, “Tell me again!” Their stories usually reveal how God was involved in their lives, so I’m happy to hear their stories again! And why not? God told his people to keep telling the story of the Red Sea rescue: “And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand” (Deuteronomy 6:21). We can imagine how the Israelite children listened carefully about how God saved their parents. So, tell your family and others how God has blessed you! And do it again!
