Steadfast Love

April 5, 2024

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust.

Psalm 143:8

Several months ago, the neuropathy and nerve pain in my feet and legs worsened, so I started using a walker. I had tried to get by with pain medication, but it became clear I needed to do more. While the pain has not gone away, the walker provides the necessary support and stability I need to move around.

Jesus healed many people during his time on earth, and he provided care and comfort for those in need. What a great example for us! While not all of us will be healed on earth, we look forward to the glorious day when we will be in heaven and all pain and discomfort will wash away!

Annette Schumacher

Dear Lord, help us to turn toward you for care and comfort as we deal with any physical and emotional pain in our lives. Amen.

Reflect: How has God provided care and comfort for you when you dealt with difficulties in your life?

Read: Psalm 143:11-12 and Hebrews 12:11-13
