Physically Living in Christ
6 5 24 HFL
June 5, 2024

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses ... let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

Hebrews 12:1

You may never have heard the phrase “Physically living in Christ.” Here are some examples of people in Scripture who were physically running.

Samuel ran to Eli thinking that he was calling him, Legion runs and falls down before Jesus, Zacchaeus runs to climb a tree to see Jesus, and Peter ran to the tomb of Jesus.

Here is one that talks about you: “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

What race are you running today?

Ken Holdorf
Frisco, TX

Lord, thank you for putting me in the race that we call, “living in Christ.” Thank you for walking to the cross so that I can run to your home in heaven. Amen.

Reflect: Help others run (or walk) with you in “Physically living in Christ.”

Read: Acts 3:11-16 and Colossians 2:6-7
