New Each Day

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2 Corinthians 5:17

I often ask myself “Am I experiencing all that God wants for me?” The older I become, the more I am thankful for what the Lord has done for me. Because of Christ’s death and resurrection, I am new each day. I am a forgiven child of God with a purpose. Yet, at times, I am tempted to see the great event of Christ’s death and resurrection as just something to remember, like the deaths of other great men. Christ’s death means much more. He came to bring us back into a relationship with God. When this happens, we see the world differently. We see people needing Christ in their lives. As you go about your day, know that you have been made a new creation for a reason and share Christ with those you meet.

Mike Lutz

Lord, let me see the world as you see it. Amen.

Reflect: Make a list of people you know who don’t know Jesus. Share Jesus with them.

Read: Isaiah 42:9 and Psalm 98:1
