... your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit ... So glorify God in your body.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
When I visited a gym, I watched younger clients run on treadmills while I worked at a slower pace on an elliptical machine. They lifted heavy weights; I used small ones. Over time, exercise designed for my physical condition improved my strength and stamina. I feel better and have more energy when I keep moving.
When physical challenges or finances for gym membership limit us, we may choose to walk at a mall or in our neighborhood. Simple stretching or lifting vegetable cans as weights help strengthen us. We can do our best to find ways to keep moving and honor God with our physical health. Improved strength and health allow us to serve him better. Today, invite a friend to walk with you.

Father, guide me to make wise health choices so I can honor you and serve others. Amen.
Reflect: Instead of focusing on what you can’t do, ask God to help you improve your health to honor him.
