His Purpose for Me

June 7, 2024

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

Psalm 138:8

I am filled with wonder when Scripture tells me that my creator will fulfill his purpose for me. Little ole me! When I look at my past, the events, achievements, and mistakes seem so random. Yet the words of the Bible assure me that God’s purpose and will is to be the theme of my life. So, I pray that in all opportunities and circumstances, God’s love is displayed to family, neighbors, and everyone.

Lastly, since I am the work of his hands, I pray that God will continue using me for his good in these remaining years. May all my years accomplish his plan.

MaryAnn Sundby
Castle Rock, CO

Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for creating me and adopting me as your child. Help me to live for you with purpose and I ask that you never forsake me. Amen.

Reflect: Recognize that you are the work of God’s hands and have purpose from above.
