He is not here, for he has risen, as he said.

Jesus was born a little baby like you and me but that is where the similarity stops. Jesus existed from eternity with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a simple life as a man on earth, God in the flesh. He came to die for you and me, to defeat death, the devil, and to be the example for all (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Strengthen me to obey and serve you, my Lord and Savior. “We shall love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind” (Mark 12:30-31).

What joy and thanks we should have because of his extreme love for all mankind. A saying that I remember is “Live righteously because you may be the only Bible some people read.”
