... show that you are a letter from Christ ...
2 Corinthians 3:3
My keys like to hide! Absentmindedly, I let them fall deep into my purse, or leave them in a random coat pocket. It’s annoying to relocate them. In an effort to raise my awareness when I tuck them away, I now associate each to a humble commitment to serve God.
Zipping my building key into my purse, I vow, “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” Grasping my mailbox key inside my jacket, I affirm, “Show that you are a letter from Christ.” Even when switching on the fan I can remind myself I am not in charge, “The wind blows where it wishes ... but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.”

Lord, I bow to you this moment, pledging to serve you, the key to my life! Amen.
Reflect: How can keys or buttons unlock awareness that God is our Lord?
