“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve ...”
Mark 10:45
Words like “serve” and “obey” are unpopular these days. Yet, in all humility, Jesus Christ obeyed his Heavenly Father and served humanity with faith, hope, and love. Are we willing to do the same?
Our Savior entered this world in poverty to become one with us. He sacrificed himself on the cross. Rising from death, Christ blazed the way to Heaven for us. In humble gratitude let’s give ourselves to God as our Lord gives himself to us.
Following Christ — obeying the Word of God and serving one another — we become one with our Lord. We partake in his divine life. Like Jesus, let us remain forever humble. With the Spirit of Christ, let’s praise God as we serve one another with faith, hope, and love.

Dear Jesus, help me to humbly embrace your way, your truth, and your life. Amen.
Reflect: Obeying God’s will, lend a helping hand to someone.
