Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance.
Proverbs 1:5
What was your favorite part of school when you were a child? Gym class? Art projects? Show and Tell? If you long for some of the good ol’ school days, I have good news for you! Education is never finished. Christian education, specifically, is the lifelong process of faith formation and discipleship in which all Christians participate!
From the trials of life, we learn how God is our refuge, an ever-present help in any trouble. In our family life, we learn how God works through us to bless other people. As we sing the hymns of our youth and remember bits of liturgy and Bible verses, we know all those educational opportunities continue to feed our faith and help us live life to God’s glory.
Faith is always developing and being tested, and we will never learn all there is to know about being Christ’s disciple.

Giver of Wisdom, fill me with all I need for a strong faith and life devoted to you. Amen.
Reflect: Look at old photos and ponder what God was teaching you in those moments.
