Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians 13:7
March 19 marks the first day of spring. The winter months can cause sadness because our northern hemisphere daylight hours are short. When we face those “darkened” times, a pleasant, thankful, and praise-filled comment may be refreshing and welcoming. Thinking about God’s agape, selfless, love directs us as we listen. We hear of one’s needs, and we want to help that person endure. We want to add hope for all concerns and bear any burden that seems to be happening at that moment.
1 Corinthians 13 is titled “the Way of Love.” Paul planned chapter 13 following the spiritual gifts in Chapter 12. Boundless ways of encouragement spring from the gifts with which God has blessed us.
May we lovingly encourage others.

Direct us, Lord, to grow in an understanding of others and in encouraging ways. In Jesus name. Amen.
