... the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God ...
Galatians 2:20b
Funerals are extraordinary occasions — a time to see old friends, make some new acquaintances, and a time to remember.
Funerals today are often called “a celebration of the life” of that individual. But they are much more than that. They are celebrations of the baptismal life that we all now share.
At any age, we have freedom from the burdens of sin. Daily we are released from the chains of guilt and resentments, transformed into the best life our loving God wants for each of us. We have room to grow in meaningful relationships, apart from the loneliness and darkness around us. In an often dark and chaotic world, we have stability and security in Jesus.
So, celebrate your life now and give thanks!
