... to be joyful and to do good as long as they live.
Ecclesiastes 3:12
I still remember my grandmother saying to me, “Idle hands are the devil’s workshop!”
A beautiful part of Christianity is the fact that “faith is absorbed and witnessed in ways that include our minds (God’s word), our souls (baptism), and our physical bodies (work).
Since Adam and Eve, mankind has worked and toiled. God gives us things to do so that our minds and bodies stay active, focused on Christ, and away from laziness or despair. In fact, God wants us to enjoy what we do! This is God’s gift to man.
You might be weaker now, but God remains with you and with the people who were a witness to all the things you said and did as a beloved child of God.
