Be Thankful!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.

Psalm 136:1

Have you ever worked in a store? There are times during the year when you must take inventory of what is in the store. It is easy to forget exactly how much you have. If you want to operate your store efficiently, you must take an inventory periodically.

The same is true with our lives. Periodically we must take an inventory of what we have. Think about it. Have you tried to count all the things that you have and the blessings that you have experienced over the years? Or are you like most of us, and complain about the things that we don’t have? Taking inventory is a good way to realize the importance of being thankful. So, today, spend some time taking inventory and thank God for all that you have and have experienced.

Mike Lutz
Youngsville, NC

Lord, you have blessed me greatly. Thank you. Amen.

Reflect: Spend time taking inventory of your blessings.
