The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty ...
Psalm 90:10
My cup overflows! The Lord has even granted me ten more than the fourscore, plus the health and strength to enjoy those bonus years. I am still able to worship from my favorite pew and attend mid-week Bible classes. I still serve on the Altar Guild, help count the Sunday offerings, and assist with church mailings. I am also privileged to write and submit devotions for this publication.
Recently, after months of extensive planning and elaborate preparation, my children and grandchildren gathered for a surprise celebration of my turning 90. As I looked around at my extended family, I could only say, “I am abundantly blessed.” We owe God our praise and thanks for all he provides day by day. He deserves it.

Dear Lord, thank you for each day, each month, each year that you have given me. Amen.
Reflect: Make a list of blessings. Thank God specifically for each one.
