For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
Romans 5:10
No doubt you know that AAA stands for Automobile Association of America. And that BBB stands for Better Business Bureau. But do you know what the RRR stands for? It comes from the R words in the Bible — Reproach, Reconcile, and Renew. Reproach tells us we human beings are sinners. Reconcile tells us our sins are forgiven by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Renew tells us God has renewed us by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Now you know what RRR stands for. There are a lot of R words in the Bible, but these three R words are primary. Jesus died on the cross to redeem us with
the ransom of our sin and reconciled us with our relationship with God and gives us eternal life through the resurrection of Jesus and our renewed life.

Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice on the cross and your resurrection from the dead. Amen.
Reflect: Look at a concordance in the Bible and find out how many R words you will find.
