Worship Anew is excited to welcome Pastor Jeremy Swem to the program for the Nov. 5 service.
Swem, the pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, Mich., will be speaking for All Saint’s Day (observed) on “Our True Hope” from Matthew 5:1-12.
“In the midst of hardships, struggles, and persecution it is easy to lose hope and falsely believe that God has abandoned us. He has not. John in his Revelation provides us the sure and certain hope that our Savior brings us through all these things finally giving to us His victory,” Swem wrote in preview of his sermon.
Swem was a Lutheran schools teacher before entering the seminary in 2007. He first served as a pastor in Saskatchewan for four years and then accepted a Call to Our Savior where he has been for the last eight years.
Swem is pleased to continue his ministry in a new way through the Worship Anew program as the broadcast has already impacted so many in his own congregation.
“Worship Anew is a great blessing to many members at Our Savior Church but especially our homebound members,” he said. “I was talking with one of our homebound members, and she let me know she calls her friend to chat about the sermons they hear or the beautiful choir music. I’d love to give back to an organization that has bestowed so many blessings not only to our homebound members but Christians throughout the world.”
Pastor Swem’s sermon will be available Nov. 5 on local broadcasts throughout the country, as well as TCT, and online at WorshipAnew.org, through Vimeo, and YouTube. Learn more at https://worshipanew.org/by-type/watch/watch-on-tv.
