Worship Anew has dedicated its five new paraments for its TV program.
The new red, white, blue, purple, and green paraments will be used on the altar and lectern during the weekly “Worship Anew” program. The different colors denote the different times of the church year.
“I want to say thank you to our donors, those people who are near and far, who have been faithfully supporting this project,” said Executive Director Matthew Leighty. “These paraments are a beautiful depiction of the message that we share with our viewers each and every day. It’s a message that brings comfort and peace and the assurance that we have in the salvation of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.”
The dedication was held on Tuesday, Nov. 3 in the Wolf Chapel (the studio) at Worship Anew and was led by one of Worship Anew’s pastors, the Rev. Shayne Jonker.
“Worship Anew” is an LCMS (Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod) weekly televised worship program that provides a Gospel message while also sharing hymns and prayers for viewers, especially those who are homebound.
