As we age, we become increasingly aware of the need for a will. A will allows you to share your wishes for how your family and your estate will be handled after you are gone.
We strongly encourage you to have a will, a Power of Attorney, and an Advanced Healthcare Directive. Regardless of how big or small you think your “estate” may be, Worship Anew wants to provide resources to help you to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to you by preparing for the future before it is too late to make your wishes known and legal.
On October 22 and October 24, we are offering sessions for free simple will planning. If you are willing to include a gift to charity like the ministry of Worship Anew in that will, we can provide the resources to help you complete these documents for free! Spaces are limited so please contact us today.
We pray that going through this process will provide an opportunity for you to share your plans with your family, since we also know that these sorts of discussions can be difficult to initiate for most people.
If you live in the greater Fort Wayne area, we will have attorneys willing to create these documents with pre-set appointments at our office (5 Martin Luther Drive - on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary) from 12-4:30 PM October 22 and 9 AM-1:30 PM October 24. Contact us at (888) 286-8002 or legacy@worshipanew.org to find an appointment that works best for your schedule.
Please note that if your situation requires more advanced work than a typical simple will, the attorney will advise you of any potential costs if a discounted fee may be required to complete your wishes. For most families, however, the simple or typical documents are sufficient and will be free if you include a charitable bequest in your plans.
