Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

As the Christmas season approaches, our thoughts turn to our family and loved ones. We try to come up with the perfect gift for our family members and close friends. The list can get extremely long and our thoughts may turn to finances, wondering if we have enough financial resources to get that special gift that is perfect for them and will be cherished. If we are struggling with finances, we may wonder if we need to take someone off the list or get a second-best gift that we can afford.

Reflect on what God considers the perfect gift, His Son, Jesus Christ. God knew it was just what we needed, a gift that is perfect for everyone and is needed by everyone. This year, make sure you share the perfect gift with everyone, the gift of Jesus Christ.
