Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16
As a teacher, I would often set up home visits prior to school starting. Some families welcomed me into their home. Others asked, “You want to come here?” Nervous of my reception, I’d say a prayer for courage before I rang the bell, and remember I never went alone.
When we are baptized into God’s family and receive the Holy Spirit, he takes up residence inside us. He goes where we go. Heading for a visit? He travels with us. Going on vacation? He rides along. Changing our housing? Our move is his move. Wherever we go, the Holy Spirit accompanies us bringing strength, courage, and peace.

Dear Lord, I am grateful for your continual presence in my life. Thank you for always being with me wherever I go. Amen.
Reflect: Wherever you go today, the Holy Spirit goes too.
