Be strong and courageous.

Joshua 1:9b

Have you wanted to encourage someone by helping or supporting them in their need, but you didn’t have any courage to do anything? We can find an example of what to do in the life of Joshua. Moses had died and God commissioned Joshua to take his place. But he had no courage. God said, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

So what does this mean for you? If God wants to use you to encourage someone, then be assured that God will give you the courage to encourage that person. Be ready to trust that God will carry out His promises for you.
