Each one must give as he has decided in his heart … for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7
“I pledge: my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living.” I made that pledge at each meeting as a grade-schooler in 4-H club. I understood that I was to offer myself in service to others.
God has given each of us time, talents, gifts, and money to use for honoring Him and blessing others. I may not be as active and available for service as I was in grade-school 4-H, but I have experience and gifts to share, and time in which to do it. I can always listen and pray with thanksgiving for God blessing others and make requests to God on others’ behalf.

Father, have good use of us today, as we offer ourselves to serve You as we serve others. Amen.
Reflect: Take time today to help someone in need and thank God for the opportunity to serve them.
