“You are my God!” My times are in your hand ...
Psalm 31:14b-15a
The scheduler on the other end of the phone says, “The doctor can see you six weeks from tomorrow.” You sigh and ask, “Nothing sooner?” Response is, “We can put you on a cancellation list.” Sound familiar?
We are not built to wait. The future is ahead of us, and we want to get going. We want to know what is coming next and what the future will hold.
God has promised us a bright future in his hands, no matter how the doctor’s appointment turns out. Because of Jesus’ sacrificial death and rising again on Easter, we have the gift of eternal life. That is what God’s promises are all about. We live in the assurance that God is leading and guiding us safely to tomorrow.

Dear Father, help us to remember our days are in your hands. Amen.
Reflect: Look back on the past month and see how God has walked with you through each day.
