My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day.
Psalm 71:15a
Recently my husband and I drove cross-country to California, where we both grew up. Over six weeks, we visited many places that were important to us decades ago. As we shared memories, we were reminded of the many ways God led, blessed, and shaped us.
That experience made me think about being a steward of my story — taking time to remember and notice how God supported me through the challenges, forgave me when I chose wrong, and gave me joy in using His gifts for His purposes. Imagine if all of us who are senior in years did the same and then shared our stories. How many people would get to hear God’s story, the greatest story ever told?
