Yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

Habakkuk 3:18

“Jesus loves you so much.” We’ve heard these words often, but do we believe them enough to honor Him with worship and praise when circumstances drag us down? The love of Jesus is beyond human understanding, and His grace constantly covers us. That doesn’t mean we are happy all the time, but it can mean that we love Him so much we can rejoice in the wonder of who He is.

A special promise has been given us in Habakkuk 3:19. In the process of our rejoicing, He will give us the feet of a deer; we can tread on high places. We can better understand the sacrifice Jesus paid for us when He suffered and died. The best part: His promise of a resurrection becomes ours, as well. His joy is ours. No greater gift is given.
