Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
Romans 12:2a
To reflect means to think on something quietly and calmly. I do that as I read my Bible. I sit quietly and think about God’s grace and mercy.
By grace I receive His love when I don’t deserve it.
By mercy I receive the undeserved gift of God’s kindness and compassion, a debt I couldn’t pay, but is paid by His love.
There’s another definition for the word reflect. It means to send back light from a surface. This meaning is to reflect an image, such as with a mirror.
As I reflect on the love of God, I want to also be a reflection sending back the light of the image of Jesus.

Heavenly Father, the gift of Your kindness and compassion is precious. Show me how I can share that love with others.
Reflect: How can you be a reflection of Jesus today?
