You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?
Psalm 56:8
I sat in prayer relating my fears and longings. The Lord had heard them many times before. Some had remained unanswered for years. I thought about giving up, but dutifully said “Amen,” confident answers come in the Lord’s timing. Even to my small, seemingly unimportant, requests.
Scripture assures us that there is no unimportant prayer. None too small. All the cares of God’s children are precious. The Bible tells of prayer stored in golden censers rising up before the Lord from the hand of an angel. God hears and remembers all. No tear cried in vain. No hurt or worry ignored. No prayer is ever lost or forgotten. All are recorded in His book.

Father in Heaven, let my prayer be counted as incense before You, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice! Amen.
Reflect: Keep a journal of prayer requests and answers, knowing they’re also in God’s book.
