Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
Psalm 90:2
At Christmas gatherings, our adult children naturally start recalling childhood Christmases that were especially meaningful for them. It’s seldom about the gifts and usually circles around to times spent at church during the Advent and Christmas season. They may reflect on a sermon their father preached that touched them, or a song I played at the organ they still enjoy hearing and singing today. Recently, our youngest daughter shared one Christmas, as she looked upon baby Jesus in the manger, she knew God must be the oldest person alive. Even older than her grandfather! We all had a good laugh! Our ageless God has been with us for all eternity and with every generation. He’s been with us yesterday, today, and forevermore.

God, you are ageless, and when we get to heaven, we will be ageless also! Amen.
Reflect: Pray for each of your grandchildren and children that they will also know the ageless God.
Read: Hebrews 13:5-8 and Psalm 90:1-10
