For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10
Visiting a hospital, I noticed this phrase: “On purpose. For purpose.” Two words came to mind — intention and impact — and I wondered, “Do I live with intention and does what I do make an impact?" But that was all about me, so I flipped the script: “How can God use me to live with intention for positive impact?”
We may think our days of impact are behind us. If it were all about us, that would be true. But it’s not — it’s about God and what he can do through us. Making an impact can be as simple as intentionally writing a note of encouragement, sitting with a young mom in church, or volunteering at a blood drive. God can — and does — do amazing things through you.

Lord, equip me to serve you by serving others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Reflect: What can you do to make a difference in the lives of others?
