See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it.
James 5:7
When I lived up north, I always looked forward to early spring. The new season and the promise of new growth often beckoned me outside despite the chilly temperatures. Occasionally, a crocus would emerge where I expected a daffodil to appear. Did you know that throughout winter, those bulbs remain protected, yet they are not entirely dormant? Beneath the surface, they sprout roots and store nutrients during the cold months. Similarly, like the bulbs we plant in fall, we place our prayers firmly in God’s hands. He hears and begins to work out the circumstances and details beyond our sight. Meanwhile, we watch and wait for signs of life. The outcome may not be exactly what we anticipated, but we can believe and trust that His answers will unfold according to His perfect will and timing.

Jesus, thank You for hearing my prayers. Help me wait patiently for Your answers. Amen.
Reflect: Look for signs of new growth. With each blossom, remember to look for answers to your prayers.
