Never Home Alone!

“… behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:20

She told me it was one of the hardest things she had ever done. That was to go to the restaurant she and her husband used to go to frequently. It was so hard to sit and eat alone when all around her people were having a meal with family or friends. But she did go.

There is no denying that it is painful to be alone. Some people who live alone feel like they have been left to live in solitary confinement. But this is not so! You cannot escape God’s resounding call to be with you from birth to death and beyond.

The theological term for God’s faithful presence with you is called: “OMNIPRESENCE.” God has promised to be with you, always, in all circumstance, and at all stages of your life.

Jerrold Lloyd Nichols

Lord, I need Your help. Send to me a special measure of Your Holy Spirit that my faith may be reflected in my daily life. Amen.

Reflect: As you read your Bible, underline the many times God assures you of His continued presence.

Read: Revelation 19 and Revelation 22
