Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think ...
Ephesians 3:20
The excitement was palpable as I drove my husband and two friends to the Hong Kong airport to do teacher training among the Karen people of Northern Thailand. This was Michael’s second trip and the first for our friends.
Upon arrival in Bangkok, the group traveled via jeep and river to the teaching site, a 15-hour journey over unfriendly terrain! The day before their expected return, I received an unwanted call. Even following all the protocols, Michael had contracted falciparum malaria! Jumbled prayers exploded ... for wisdom and courage to do what was necessary in getting the needed medical help for Michael. Our Great Physician answered my numerous prayers! He, along with a tropical disease specialist, and loving friends and family, was present with us through the many weeks of triumphant recovery.

Thanks, Abba, for answering my prayers, then and now! Amen.
Reflect: Have you ever had a triumphant journey through a life-threatening trial?
