So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
The Five Love Languages, a book by Gary Chapman, was a new way to think about ourselves and others. God, who is love, teaches us to speak this language of love. He gives us good gifts of grace, faith, and forgiveness. God serves us with His constant presence and healing. God sends us His words of affirmation in the Bible. He assures us that, as dearly loved children, we are made worthy through the sacrifice of Jesus.
God loves quality time with us in devotions, listens to us in prayer, and speaks to us through His Word. He gives us His physical touch in communion and through the hands of His body, the church. Steeped in God’s love, we overflow His love to others.
One way I show love is cooking for friends and family. What’s you love language?

Loving Savior, I love because You first loved me. Help me share Your love with others. Amen.
Reflect: Think about God’s love language and how you can overflow love to others.
