Trust in the Lord with all your heart … and he will make straight your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Our toddler grandson loves to get behind his stroller and push it. He can’t see where he’s going, and sometimes the stroller gets out of control going down the driveway, or it gets stuck on a curb or crack. Of course, unbeknownst to him, I have my hand on the stroller handle. I can see the way forward and keep it under control to help him over the rough spots.
Jesus walks beside us and has His hand gently on the handle of our lives, keeping us safe. It’s easy to forget that Jesus is nearby. Our Lord calls us to take our hand off the stroller, get in, and let Jesus make our paths straight.

Dearest Jesus, You are always here to guide us along our path of life and then to take us to dwell in Your house forever. Amen.
Reflect: Memorize Isaiah 41:10 and say it as you take a walk with your hand in Jesus’ righteous right hand.
