Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in.
Revelation 3:20
The other day I was waiting for my doctor to begin my exam. I heard a knock on the door, and I said, “Come in.” The doctor entered. His smiling face reassured me that he would help me with my ailment. I’m glad that I said, “Come in.”
In the same way, Jesus knocks on my door and enters. He’s also smiling because He knows that He can heal whatever spiritual ailments I have — my fears, my hurtful sins, my loneliness, and more. Since He died and rose again, He brings me forgiveness and spiritual healing for my saddened condition. He assures me that I am forgiven, and He strengthens me despite my spiritual pains. Every day I can say, “Come in, Jesus, and smile on me!”

Dear Jesus, thank You for knocking and improving my spiritual health! Amen.
Reflect: Name some of the spiritual ailments you may have. How does Jesus come in and heal you?
