“... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11b (NIV)
This is the season for graduations. For young people, it is a time for closing a chapter in life and moving to another. At these ceremonies and celebrations, we often reflect on our own stepping stones in life as we looked to the future. We remember the plans and dreams we had as young people — hopefully with a smile rather than regret.
God promises that no matter where we are in life, we can count on Him to be with us. God may have something different in mind for us, but through it all He is there to lead us. He gives us hope when things look bleak, He gives us comfort when our plans fall through, and He walks beside us each step of the way.

Heavenly Father, thank You for being with us to guide and support us in our journey. Amen.
Reflect: When have things gone differently than you planned? How could you see God’s hand in the plan?
