Hope in Him

Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

Psalm 25:20

When we are young and beginning our journey in life, we are filled with possibility. We are hopeful our dreams will be fulfilled. However, throughout each season in life, challenges and obstacles emerge and unfulfilled aspirations and dreams take root. These disappointments potentially can cause us doubt and uncertainty about the future and make us feel disheartened. Among all believers, there is one constant belief — the promise of eternal life with Him in heaven. Unlike constant change within our earthy life, He is the hope that never changes. When we all are called home, and meet Him face-to-face, the Lord’s everlasting promise is fulfilled. Oh, what a glorious day it will be! Find peace and contentment in Him every day of your life!

Betsy Becker Niedringhaus

Dear Heavenly Father, I am thankful for the gift of Your Son who brings everlasting hope and peace to me and all believers. Amen.

Reflect: How can you reach out to others during the stormy seasons in life?
