Have To

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Our younger years were a time in which we were guided by our parents, teachers, and pastors. During that period, we were expected to do what we were told and follow the directions of those who were guiding us. This was a HAVE TO!

As we age, we gain more understanding. There is a realization of how important our early years of HAVE TO were. They gave us the tools needed to become responsible adults. We were taught how to take care of ourselves, look after aging parents, be valued employees or leaders, and become a loving, attentive, spouse or parent. But the ultimate thing we learned was the importance of worshipping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Don Hollmann
Ballwin, MO

Heavenly Father, guide me to understand the importance of being a responsible person following your guidance and knowing we have eternal life with you. Amen.

Reflect: As a follower of Christ, find ways to be one of his helpers.

Read: 2 Corinthians 9:11 and Proverbs 3:5-6
