Jeremiah 29:11

I have found God’s loving plans for me in my life, even when I could not see them. I had to change high schools between my Junior and Senior years. I wanted to go to one school because of a girl I was dating, but I was not in that district. The school I was required to go is where I met my wife of 58 years.

I had the opportunity to stay in the Air Force, but God led me not to. If I had reenlisted, my son would never have met his future wife, and my two grandsons would never have been born. We cannot always see what God has planned for us, but in hindsight, we can see how God guides and directs us in the direction He wants us to go.
