You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.
John 16:20b
Grief can make you feel so alone. We might begin to wonder if God sees our tears. The world seems to move on without a care. I have been there. Friends sent cards and flowers and brought comforting food. One freezing cold day, a box was delivered to my door. It contained flower bulbs which adapted quickly to my warm sunroom. As I watched them grow each day, I realized that God’s beautiful gift of nature was showing me His love.
The Creator cares for His creation through every hug and hot dish from friends. Each prayer and flowering bulb showed me that God is listening. I have learned that there will be tears on my face, but I still have joy in my heart.
