And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24
We don’t always know when one of God’s helpers is going to appear. Recently I was in a deli, fumbling in my purse for money to pay for my order. A man’s voice behind me said, “I’ll pay for it.”
At that moment when I could not get my act together, someone made my day easier. Thank you, God. Experiences like that bolster my faith. Later I found the money tucked inside my purse and gave it to my local church.
Acts of kindness remind us that as God loves us, we are to love one another. The good Lord became man to show us the way, giving us His Holy Spirit as our daily guide. May our hearts remain open to God’s presence, revealed to us through the generosity and gentleness of helping one another.
