They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green.
Psalm 92:14
Does getting up in the morning depress you because of your age? Do your aches and pains cause you to complain? Do you ask yourself, “Why am I still here at this old age?”
Recently, I was in a car dealership’s showroom, having a conversation with the general manager. We were standing there among cars worth over $100,000. He knew I wasn’t there to buy a car. I asked about his family. His wife was in hospice with cancer, and a granddaughter was using drugs. I then remembered Mother Teresa’s quote, “We cannot do great things. We can only do little things with great love.” So, I asked if I could pray for his family among those expensive cars and customers. And we did!
Let’s be thankful that even at our age, we can find ways to share the love of Christ with others.

Father, help me to find ways to share Jesus. Amen.
Reflect: Make a list of ways you can do little things with great love.
