… my cup overflows.
Psalm 23:5
You can’t give what you haven’t received. This sounds like, “Beloved, let us love one another.” Notice that sequence: beloved — love another. How are you regularly experiencing the love of God? Do you wake up wondering, “What joy drop will God send me today?” Have you developed the habit of calling, “Where are You, Lord?” when distress hits because He has been present to you in just such times before? Have you discovered the pleasure of conversing with Jesus in a daily journal or sketch pad when you pause to listen for His responses to you?
These kinds of actions, over time, fill our heart-cups. Then the grace given regularly by God spills over onto those around us. God models what love does, and we act just like Him, letting the wine of His grace spill over to another!

Lord, You know how to love me in the way I best receive. Expand my heart to notice this daily. I want to love like You love. Amen.
Reflect: Observe joy drops — intentional small gifts of gladness from God. Notice them all around you.
