I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music. … I will walk with integrity of heart within my house.
Psalm 101:1-2
My pastor receives new members at the end of worship services. They are welcomed and introduced to the congregation. One Sunday, Shirley was received. Pastor called her forward to answer questions confessing our faith. Shirley started forward; however, she was followed by eight other women. Pastor was surprised. “What is happening?” he asked. “Shirley is a member of our Friday morning Bible class. We have encouraged her to join our church. We are all her sponsors,” responded the ladies. I know most of the Friday morning Bible class members. Their commitment, devotion, and love overflow. Their devotion is seen because God’s love is limitless. Romans 8:32 says, “He who did not spare his own son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”
